Careflex MultiAdjust

The new MultiAdjust from Careflex is a cost effective, highly adjustable seating system that provides postural support and pressure care without compromising the users comfort. The chair features Tilt-in-Space, Back Angle Recline and lower limb support. An ideal choice for multiple user environments, and for those who are semi-ambulant and non-ambulant. Its modular design makes it a perfect fit for Community Loan Stores. Kirton Encora Chair (Manual)

The Advanced Comfort Backrest, incorporating Reflexion™ Foam, moulds itself to the contours of the user, helping disperse body weight and providing superior comfort and support. A Waterfall back is also available for more cushioned, immersive support.

The chair can be raised or lowered to attain the correct seat height for each user and helps maintain an even weight distribution by ensuring feet are firmly positioned on the floor. The Dyna-Form® Mercury Advance Bari Alternating Cushion is a dynamic replacement seating system, combined with the benefits of modern foam technology. It is specifically designed for patients considered to be at Very High Risk of pressure ulcer development. Offering high levels of patient comfort, this unique system has the facility to ‘step up’ to that of a dynamic cushion when clinically required. Stabilo Comfortable Plus Duo (L)

The Stabilo Comfortable Plus Duo is a complex posture cushion which combines a corset back with a seat.  Once shaped, it can be moved between a wheelchair, armchair or sofa.  It can also be used to improve stability and safety when travelling by car.  The cushion can stabilise the whole body with extended supports that go around the user’s trunk and fasten with Velcro.  The cushion forms an anatomically-fitted corset and is intended for users with cerebral palsy (spastic quadriplegia) with low muscle tone in the trunk. It is also suitable for users with severe athetosis. A Velcro neoprene (thoracic) strap is included.

The Stabilo stablising system works using vacuum preserving of a modelled shape.  A special pump helps to deflate the cushion, allowing it to harden into the required shape.  The shape and hardness can be changed very easily.  A hand pump is included with this cushion.
